:HUMAN EMPOWERMENT PRINCIPLES:

• All human beings are created to be equal.
• Leadership is a constitution of integrity, character, contribution, ethic, vision, commitment, empowerment, positive attitude, trust, motivation, service and skill.
• Honesty is the highest character value.
• Deceit, manipulation, falsification, hypocrisy and corruption must be eliminated from all systems.
• Humanity is the foremost and ultimate priority.
• All systems must serve and inspire to serve people.
• New systems must be created that value humanity and promote development of human values.
• The highest, the only, priority of government, business, social associations and families is to serve people.
• The individual must be empowered to serve; all who are not thus empowered drain, deplete and contaminate the system of its resources.
• Equality is the very core of Human Empowerment. Democracy is only its inevitable outcome.
• Human Empowerment Mission is essentially meant for crossing all boundaries among people, nations and religions.

Serampore - reloaded

OK, we are very very close to launch the next version of 'Serampore'. I

thought, it might be a good thing to add some screenshots here as

blog-posts.

As we all know, Ning, a platform which lets people create community sites very easily, going paid-only. All the networks, including HEM will be deleted on May 4th if not turned into premium.

We, the people of Serampore, thought rather than paying Ning, which comes with several limitations, developing our own system,… Continue

An appalling experience

A visit to one of the colonies near Chandigarh left me quite unnerved. The appalling conditions in which the people of this colony live became apparent to me. Reflecting upon what might be the condition of colonies in other states of India left me with a sense of disappointment and despondency. As a journalist I have been taught to remain disinterested while chronicling the events that I come across. But what I saw here left me benumbed for which I am sure my teacher concerned who painstakingly… Continue

Scientific temper--- the need of the masses

In this world which is predominantly dominated more by technology than by Science itself. You may ask what is the big issue here. Isn't technology applied science? And if it is so where lies the problem.

The big issue is that we are not enhancing our scientific temper as much as we are into the crazy race of embracing technology without even for a moment pausing to think that technology can never overhaul nature. When the point of scientific temper is made the aim is to drive home the… Continue

I want my state too.....

Dear Mr Prime Minister,

I am 27 years old, a bit fat, educated and I want my own state. To achieve this objective I have decided to proceed on a fast immediately... after my next pizza, that is. (Considering my body mass index and fondness for trans fats, I have deemed this the most apt way to protest.)

I now intend to break bread only after my 2-bedroom flat in Noida is declared a state. The state will be known as Hell's Paradise and its capital will be Den-- which is… Continue
